Cock Comb Island is located about 28 nautical miles southwest of Kawthaung, in the Andaman Sea, about an hour by speed boat.

The island covers an area of ​​about 120 acres and is made up of volcanic rocks with no soil at all, making it difficult to climb onto the island.

The island is strange due to surrounded by rocky outcrops, in the center of the island is a natural, heart-shaped lake of about 300 diameters.

The only entrance to the lake is 25 feet wide under the southeastern rock formations of the island. It can be accessed from a 30-foot-long tube-shaped tunnel at low tide. You have to go after weighing the tide. If the water level rises, the cave will not open and you will not be able to climb the island.

The lake in the center of the island has beautiful snorkeling sites that are about 12 meters deep at high tide. In summer, it is green and clear enough to penetrate up to 6 meters under water with a snorkeling mask.

There are about 25 species of hard corals in the lake. About 40 species of fish; Many natural coral reefs; The sea is a breeding ground for many exotic marine species, attracting both local and foreign tourists. Marine biologists paddle and explore the lake with interest. They do photo recordings.
